Megaforce
Megaforce are four Parisians — Charles Brisgand, Clément Gallet, Léo Berne and Raphaël Rodriguez — who came out of graphic art and photography and named themselves after a 1982 action film. They direct as one unit, and the signature is a straight face held over an escalating stupid idea.
'The Greeks' put children in a war film and dared you to object. 'Sacrilege' runs a small-town scandal entirely in reverse, unwinding from a burning wreck back to a first glance — it won two UK Music Video Awards and took VMA nominations for Direction and Cinematography. 'Pursuit of Happiness' is a house party filmed as slow-motion catastrophe.
Their Nike film 'Nothing Beats a Londoner' took the inaugural Cannes Lions Social & Influencer Grand Prix in 2018, and Berne and Rodriguez's short 'The Censor of Dreams' made the Academy Awards shortlist in 2022.
