'Heaven Can Wait' for Charlotte Gainsbourg and Beck is a parade of surreal tableaux delivered with a straight face. 'Toe Jam' for The BPA covers its naked cast entirely in animated black censor bars, choreographed so the bars themselves become the dance. 'Somebody New' films Joywave through a supermarket of product placement gone feral.
The advertising world caught on early: his Diesel viral film took a Gold Lion at Cannes in 2009. In 2021 Duck Sauce's 'Mesmerize' swept the UK Music Video Awards, taking Video of the Year.
